Many of us have had great encounters in our lives and have never told them to any one. Also there are events that have had a profound impact on us which some us cannot express or explain. Most of us come away with the certainty that it must of been God and nothing else or no one else. Stories of ` God Encounter` are almost all the time met with ridicule, doubt and scepticism but the point is this…. it was your experience and no one will ever know about it until you tell your story.
Cynicism might well be the reason why many have not told their God stories. However when we tell our God stories we will be helping others to know that they are not alone, and perhaps there will be something they can learn from them …. a message, a warning ,a gift or a promise. Whatever the good that can come from our God stories the fact is there is good, and we should never deprive those who want to hear from our experience so that they can benefit.
Telling about your `God Encounter` to others can be quite rewarding and yet challenging. We are not here to judge you or doubt your words but rather to give help and support by providing the platform and network for you to tell your story and reach the people who want to share their experiences and hear about yours.
God stories are the kind of encounters that are never normal, and almost borders on the bizarre. They are always impossible, never reasonable and may leave us sometimes speechless, or lifting up our hands praising God. The narrow escape , the just in time intervention, what ever your experience may be, the fact is you know that it was God. In spite of what people may say let’s hear it. It’s your story, your experience, your reality, your special moment, your divine encounter and it must be told. Paul the apostle had a `God Encounter` and was willing to go all the way to Rome to tell his God story to Caesar.
We are living in great times. The invention of the internet has allowed us to stay at home and reach people all around the world with our God stories, What is fantastic about this is that we get to tell our own stories in our own words. Therefore we don’t need any news reporter to tell our stories according to his media biases.
You are the best one to tell your story but remember you are not telling just any story. You are telling your God story, your God encounter. It’s good, it’s real, it’s right. It’s your moment and your divine experience. Send your God stories in now and let’s share with others all around the world.
